There's a celebration in the works for 2027 when Guelph marks its 200th anniversary. We've been planning for the occasion for a few years, and now it's time to bring the community into the conversation.

Do you have an idea for ways to commemorate the occasion in 2027? We'd love to hear about it.

We're looking for ideas around how the City should celebrate, either in partnership or through projects led by the City of Guelph itself.

Anything goes at this brainstorming phase. Bring us your ideas for events, art installations, capital projects, naming opportunities or any other way you'd like to see the City celebrate the bicentennial.

Idea submissions can be as vague or detailed, we just want to hear from you.

    Please share your ideas for how Guelph should mark our 200th anniversary in 2027.

    You will be asked for:

    • an idea title
    • a brief description of the idea 
    • your name and email address


    If you wish, you can also provide:

    • a more detailed description
    • upload a file
    • share a link to more information or resources


    Please submit only one idea per form, but you are welcome to submit multiple forms to share your all of your ideas.
