We’re building a new splash pad at Margaret Greene park in 2024! The new splash pad will be built next to the playground and will be fully accessible to all users.

Earlier in 2023, we presented two designs for community feedback. Of the two, the Natural Design was most popular as a base for the final splash pad. Learn about what else we heard from the community and how we used that feedback to finalize the design in our Engagement Summary Report.

  • A large shade structure in a natural leaf theme
  • Two accessible paths from the parking lot and one to the existing playground
  • A variety of seating options including accessible picnic–style tables
  • A seat wall near the splash zone to allow inclusive interaction with the water
  • A variety of highly-visible water features

  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

Our consultants have developed with two different concepts for the new splash pad coming to Margaret Greene Park.  The concepts are not finished designs, but instead they show a few different elements that can be included in the finished design for your feedback.  You will notice that specific spray equipment is not included in the designs presented.  That’s intentional.  We want to know what you would like to see in your park!

Please take just five or ten minutes to share your thoughts on different design elements and what changes you would like to see considered for the final design.  Our team will use that feedback to complete a design and prepare for construction.
