What do you think of our Slow Streets?

As part of the Community Road Safety Strategy, we’re trying out slow streets on six selected roads around the city and we want to know what you think. Slow streets are intended to create more space for all road users and discourage drivers from using these slow streets as a through street, making it safer for people walking, biking and using mobility devices.

Have you used a slow street at one of these locations? If so, please take our survey to tell us how they are working.

  6. Doyle Drive from Gosling Gardens to Clairfields Drive West

    City of Guelph Slow Streets

    As part of the Community Road Safety Strategy, select streets around the city have been designated as Slow Streets. We hope to create more space for all road users and discourage drivers from using these slow streets as a through street. Signs, temporary barricades and parking restrictions are used to encourage local vehicle traffic only, making it safer and easier to share the space.
