We’re reviewing residential parking of trailers to balance the need for parking while considering community safety. The project team will consider a trailer parking permit for parking in residential neighbourhoods, with a limited amount available per year per residence.
The trailer parking review covers:
recreational vehicles (RVs)
detached and attached trailers
utility trailers
Have your say on where, what and when trailers can park on residential streets, share your concerns around safety and space and what restrictions could be created depending on the type of road and traffic level.
How we’ll use your feedback
We will use your feedback to determine when and where trailers can park in residential neighbourhoods, to balance the need for parking with the needs of neighbours and traffic. Engagement ended on August 12. Soon we will share a summary of engagement and staff will be available to answer any questions about the findings before recommendations are developed and presented to Council in November 2021.
