Solid Waste Management Master Plan - Give Waste a New Life

Three waste carts, grey, blue, green, for compostables, recyclables, and non-recyclables. Title says give waste a new life.

Waste and how we manage it are constantly changing. The City is updating the 2014 Solid Waste Management Master Plan and will be exploring new and innovative ways we can support our growing community's waste management needs.

Starting in the fall of 2019 and continuing to late 2020, we will be examining how new approaches in waste management and consumer trends will shape the future of waste management in Guelph, and how to improve our current waste management system for a more sustainable future.

Guelph is proud to be a leader when it comes to waste management practices. We need to continue to work together to build on Guelph’s leadership in waste minimization and diversion to create a waste management plan that meets current and future needs.
