The City of Guelph is conducting a compliance check under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005.

As part of this compliance check, Guelph Transit wants your input on which bus stops and shelters do not meet the accessibility needs of Guelph residents.

Guelph Transit has budget available each year to upgrade bus stops that do not yet have concrete pads and to add shelters where needed. Your feedback will help us identify stops to upgrade in the future.

More information about the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities act and our service standards are available in the 'More information' tab below.

What we did

From April 4 to May 7, 2023, we sought out community feedback to help us prioritize which transit stops require shelters, concrete pads and benches to meet the accessibility needs of our community. Check out the engagement summary in our Documents section on this page for what we heard and our next steps.

We always want the community to share information with us whenever there are accessibility concerns for our stops or busses so we can address those concerns quickly.

Sometimes it's easier to show us on a map.

Here you can drop a pin to show us the stop location you want to talk about.  Let us know which stops need to be prioritized for an upgrade with cement pads, benches or shelters to make them more accessible for community members.

You can also upload a photo to show us in more detail what needs to be addressed to increase accessibility at a bus stop.

Click on the (+) symbol to get started, then click and drag a pin to place it on the map.
